At Vibrant Women we think its important to give back to the communities we visit.
Below are some of the charities we have supported through our retreats and inspirational journeys 🙂
We are an ambassador for the Joining Hands Enterprise a leading a social-purpose movement in the Health and Wellness industry to inspire GiveBack that transforms lives for homeless and vulnerable young people.
When people register for a retreat or inspirational journey they have the opportunity to select a service they wish a young person to receive on their behalf. You can feel twice as good about booking your next holiday knowing that someone in need will also receive the benefit of feeling good through your giveback gift. After you have completed your registration from you will be directed to our GiveBack page which asks you to nominate which service you would like a young person to receive, you can choose from the following: A health and wellbeing class. (ie boxing, fitness, nutrition, nia dance), mindfulness session, yoga class, haircut, or a massage. www.joininghands.com.au
In recognition of the plight of vulnerable children in India for each booking for our Marigold Trip in 2017/2018 Vibrant Women will donate $25AUD per booking to either the Magic Bus or Childline 1098.
During our Fijian Retreat in May 2016 we donated $600 to a local village to support them to rebuild their community centre. This donation was given in lumber by the local hardware store.
Bumi Sehat Birthing Clinic – We support Bumi Sehat in an ongoing way so the women of Indonesia can access birthing services. We do this via donations of cash or medical supplies, by purchasing products and by fundraising. www.bumisehatfoundation.org
Yaowawit School Thailand for underprivileged children – We provided a curriculum of textbooks for teacher to teach English as a Second Language to primary school aged students – www.yaowawit.org
The Happy Temple Dog Project Thailand – Our retreat venue for our Thailand Retreat Thailife Homestay has set up a program to feed the stray dogs that are left at temples for the monks to take care of. The monks have no way to support these animals. During our retreat we were also able to participate in this project. www.facebook.com/happytempledogsthailand
